Random Notes, Random Interest on 12/24/2009 19:53
As a random note of interest, I sort of half-updated Tanabicom to Zend Framework 1.9. I didn't set up the Zend_Application stuff yet, though I've gotten quite aquainted with it in a few other projects, but I got it so the site would come up without complaint.
Additionally, I'm working on a new public service that'll show up on this site. It'll be fun if I can keep focused long enough to finish -- more details coming soon!
Broken for a bit on 12/13/2009 10:00
Ugh, turns out www.tanabi.com was broken for a bit. Not sure for how long, just goes to show how often I update. I should seek to remedy that!
Anyway, there hasn't been much in the way of public projects lately. December has been rather slow. I have been working on an advanced version of the linkspider being used to check back links for link exchange programs, but it's not open source. Were there any demand for it, I would consider making an open source version.
Still need to finish the wife's gallery and comic management system. The gallery component is pretty much done (it needs to be able to modify gallery entries -- under the hood it's there, UI isn't finished -- but otherwise finished). Comic management is next. Fun times indeed!
Fun Times, New Host on 10/31/2009 07:53
The old host that I was on was getting rather unpleasantly slow, so I moved to a different provider. As such, if anything goes weird on the site, please let me know so I can fix it.
I have been working on a site for my wife that provides art galleries, webcomic management, and stuff like that. It iwll be up soon (hopefully) and then I will release the code open-source.
Aside from that, I have been mostly in the midst of money-making though not terribly interesting to talk about projects. Hense not a lot of blog entries!
A really nice link on 08/21/2009 20:09
Unfortunately my blog software doesn't currently support links (actually the specific problem is my TinyMCE isn't configured to let me put in links ...) so you'll have to copy/paste this for now:
http://www.survivethedeepend.com/zendframeworkbook/en/1.0/
It's a real cool online book about Zend Framework. I've been reading through it and I've really liked it so far. Check it out, and I need to tweak my TinyMCE to be a bit smarter!
More fun stuff! on 07/29/2009 14:19
An abrupt busy turn has caused me to not have much time for the Creation Engine as of late. But a recent project did lead me to develop something new and cool -- check out my new jQuery Image Map plugin. It allows you to turn pretty much any HTML element into an image map.
